We saved Canadians from Phantom FOG Blobbers
With Easter just around the corner, we came across a major problem. Canadians were dumping their fat, oil and grease (FOG) down the drain and clogging up our sewer systems. The simple act was costing one mid-sized city in Ontario, $600,000 a year to fix.
We, along with our water and wastewater utility client FluksAqua, fastened our capes and got to work with one goal in mind: stop Canadians from becoming FOG Blobbers.
With a little education and a big push to the media, Canadians across the nation agreed; the cost of FOG Blobs to our sewer system outweighed the convenience of dumping FOG down the drain.
